Vibrations in Industrial Buildings
Industrial constructions have various structural requirements due to their complex functions. Usually buildings used for machinery and fabrication processing are stressed by both static and dynamic forces.
Industrial machinery causes vibration emissions which:
- disturb the running machinery itself or the production process,
- are annoying for the humans around,
- damage the structure of the building.
Increasing requirements for fabrication tolerances result in very low vibration standards. Producers of high-precision mounting tools specify a tolerable level of vibrations as well. Serviceability checks are therefore needed for industrial constructions.
